Take Me Home Country Road 這首歌是鄉村歌手 John Denver 約翰丹佛於 1971年所作
詞曲都是他所創作，並演唱，這是一首膾炙人口的鄉村歌曲
他於1943年在美國新墨西哥出生，學的是建築，但興趣在音樂，1971年開始潛心沉醉在鄉村歌曲領域裡，從事創作和演唱，以這首"鄉村路帶我回家"一曲成名
原先最早是收錄於 Poems,Prayers and Promise 這張專輯之中，之後獨立單曲發行，曾獲得"公告牌百強單曲榜"的第二名
不少歌手翻唱過，包括奧立佛紐頓強，其他國家的歌手包括:牙買加，羅馬尼亞，法國，荷蘭，日本，等國
這首歌的創作靈感來自於約翰的朋友Bill Danoff和他的太太，比爾向約翰說他陪太太回馬里蘭州的老家時，在路上哼起了一段曲調，適合作為民謠，約翰聽了後，便和他們一同修改這首曲子，來作為專輯之用
這首歌的第一次公演是在1970年12月的華盛頓首府的音樂吧台The Cellar Door，這首歌是當天的最後一首安可曲，唱完後得到的掌聲長達五分鐘之久，創了The Cellar Door的最受歡迎紀錄
